Amy – Founding Seven Member

Amy is in her 13th year of dance, and her favorite style to perform is lyrical—a fitting choice for someone who loves the beauty, emotion, and expression that can be portrayed through movement.

For Amy, being one of the Founding Seven means helping share something new, exciting, and beautiful with others. Even more special is getting to do something she loves alongside people she cares about and sharing that experience with the community as the Ensemble begins its story.

Her ambitions stretch well beyond the dance floor. Amy is currently a pre‑law student at Washburn University, after already completing an Associate’s degree in Engineering, Drafting, and Design. She describes herself as ambitious, imaginative, and funny—a combination that keeps our rehearsals lively. Her current favorite song is Call Your Mom by Noah Kahan.

We’re so excited to have Amy as one of the Founding Seven of the Aperture Dance Ensemble. Her imagination and artistic perspective bring something uniquely her own to the group, and the Ensemble gives her another place to create, perform, and share something beautiful alongside people who mean so much to her.
